Let me offer you a few of the tips used when searching for the best package for
you. If you plan to travel in the middle of the winter, we try to avoid connections
in difficult weather airports. I would rather route you through Los Angeles, San
Francisco or Dallas, then Chicago, Denver or Salt Lake City.
It is best to arrive in Maui in the daylight hours then to try to find your hotel in the
dark. Maui doesn’t have streetlights on many parts of the island and it can be
really dark. Plus we don’t have a lot of signs either. We know you would rather
see the beauty of the island instead of a billboard.
When booking a package, I highly recommend getting a cancellation waiver or
trip insurance. Your vacation is an investment. You don’t want to have to pay
additional airline fees if you need to change a flight. Or if something comes up
and you do need to postpone your trip, you can do so.
For your return trip, most likely you will have to fly a red eye flight at some point.
Many flights leave out of Maui at 6pm or later. Take advantage of this and enjoy
the extra time you have in Maui. Many hotels offer courtesy rooms so you can
still enjoy the pool or beach and use this special room to shower and freshen up
in. Or if you are staying in a condo, be prepared to pay for a later check out to
use the room for a few more hours.
